FR107W Fast Recovery Rectifier Diode
The MIC FR107W is a surface-mount rectifier diode rated for 1000V repetitive peak reverse voltage and 1A average forward rectified current under the datasheet conditions. Its low-profile SOD-123FL package and glass-passivated junction suit compact power and rectification circuits.
Key Features
1000V Reverse Voltage
High reverse-voltage rating for rectifier and power-conversion designs.
1A Average Forward Current
Rated at 65°C ambient under the specified load conditions; current must be derated as temperature increases.
500ns Recovery Time
Maximum reverse recovery time under the stated test conditions. Check suitability for the actual switching frequency and circuit.
SOD-123FL Package
Low-profile, two-terminal SMD package designed for automated placement.

PCB and Circuit Design Notes
- Use the SOD-123FL footprint and recommended mounting-pad dimensions from the datasheet.
- Verify anode and cathode orientation before assembly.
- Provide suitable copper area and thermal management; the 1A value is not guaranteed at every ambient temperature.
- The 30A rating is a non-repetitive surge rating, not a continuous current rating.
- For capacitive loads, the datasheet specifies 20% current derating.
- Check reverse-voltage transients and reverse recovery requirements when choosing the diode.
